Election results of all assembly seats will come by 5 pm: K Ravi Kumar
The Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar has said that preparations have been completed at all 24 centers for counting of votes of the assembly elections. Three-tier security arrangements have been made at the counting centers. While counting will start at 8 am on Saturday.

Although first of all, counting of postal ballots will start. Meanwhile all postal ballots received by 8 am will be included in the counting. Counting of EVM votes will also start from 8.30 am.

Trends will start coming from 9.30 am. The final election result is expected to come before 5 pm. However, the preparation is to complete the entire process of counting by 4 pm. He was addressing a press conference at Nirvachan Sadan, Dhurva on Friday.
DEO and RO allowed take mobile inside counting center
He said that no one except DEO and RO is allowed to carry mobile inside the counting center. Entry of any policeman will be prohibited in the counting hall. Journalists will be able to take mobile phones till the media center. Permission will be given to take a picture inside the counting hall with a camera only once under the supervision of the officials.

He said that the lesser the number of rounds of counting in an assembly constituency, the sooner the result will come. He said that the Torpa assembly constituency will have the least number of counting rounds 13.
In Littipara also, there will be only 14 rounds of counting. The Chatra assembly constituency will have the maximum number of counting rounds 27. In response to a question, he said that the voters of the state, the candidates and the political parties respect the law, so the possibility of clashes regarding victory processions etc. is negligible.
