Maharashtra Cabinet Expansion: The decision regarding the cabinet expansion in Maharashtra has almost been taken. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra have gone on a Delhi tour, where on the first day, a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah came to the fore.
Today, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Apart from that, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has also announced the date of cabinet expansion.
Decision on Maharashtra cabinet taken
There has been a problem regarding the cabinet in Maharashtra for almost a week. The new government was formed on 5 December, about 13 days after the first election results. However, since then, a decision could not be taken regarding the cabinet.

Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Cabinet expansion formula already decided - Fadnavis
While Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also announced that the cabinet expansion formula is already decided. It will be known soon. He also tried to clarify the situation regarding the distribution of ministerial posts. Fadnavis said that the parliamentary board and our senior leadership take decisions in our party.
As far as making ministers from BJP quota is concerned, we will take a decision on it. Similarly, NCP and Shiv Sena will decide the names of their ministers at their own level.

Ajit Pawar announces, date of cabinet expansion
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar has announced the date of expansion of Maharashtra cabinet. Ajit Pawar informed that Maharashtra cabinet expansion will take place on 14 December. Ajit Pawar has also gone on a Delhi tour with Devendra Fadnavis. However, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was not seen with the two leaders.
