Before the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections, reports of conflict within the India Alliance of opposition parties are coming to the fore. There is a tussle going on between the parties of the India Alliance regarding seat sharing in both the states. Samajwadi Party, which is part of the India Alliance, has suffered a major setback in Maharashtra.
Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) have announced their candidates on the three seats demanded by SP in Maharashtra. This move of both the parties is being considered a big setback for Akhilesh Yadav. On this, SP national Akhilesh Yadav gave his reaction.
Meanwhile after Akhilesh Yadav's statement, SP's Maharashtra unit president Abu Asim Azmi also reacted to the matter. Abu Asim Azmi said in a post on the social media platform X on Sunday, 'Samajwadi Party (SP) does not want the secular votes to be divided in Maharashtra. SP is still waiting for the answer of Mahavikas Aghadi.'
Will SP contest alone in Maharashtra election?
While 'National President of SP Akhilesh Yadav has said that in Maharashtra, SP will first try its best to contest elections with the alliance. If the alliance does not want to keep SP with it, then SP will contest elections from where its organization is strong and will contest elections from where the alliance does not suffer
Along with this, Akhilesh Yadav also said that 'there is no place for sacrifice in politics.'

Although Akhilesh Yadav had reacted after the announcement of candidates by Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) on the three seats demanded by SP in Maharashtra. Responding to a question from media, Akhilesh had said that we are among those who are ignored. Who will contest from where will be decided by the state (Maharashtra) president of Samajwadi Party. But, if they (Maha Vikas Aghadi) do not keep us in the alliance, then we will contest elections on those seats where we will get votes or where our organization is working. But there is no place for sacrifice in politics.'
Tension over seats in Jharkhand too
In the meanwhile, India alliance seems to be cracking in the Jharkhand assembly elections. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has fielded its candidates against the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidates, in protest against which local Congress leaders have resigned.

RJD has played a trick
