A gas cylinder exploded in Kanpur. While the couple was dead in this explosion, though the explosion was so strong that pieces of the body flew and stuck to the wall. A part of the house was damaged. Cracks appeared in 6 houses in the neighborhood.

The incident detail

Surendra had brought the cylinder for the festival, when the explosion happened, this accident happened in Sisamau area at around 12.30 in the morning. 40-year-old Surendra and his wife Navita live with their family behind Manej Park in Gandhinagar. His son Ayush Gaur and daughter Saloni said that we had gone up to the roof to do the Diwali decorations.

Suddenly we heard mother's voice that father has brought the cylinder. Come down and give him the money. We were coming down after this when there was a loud explosion. The whole area shook. We could not understand anything. When we came down, there was blood everywhere. Our mother was lying on the ground soaked in blood.

Papa was lying at the door of the house. He was also soaked in blood. People nearby took mother to the hospital. We have been told that she has died

After the explosion, people from the vicinity gathered at Surendra's house. A part of this house has collapsed. Surendra's body has been removed from the debris and sent for postmortem. Daughter Saloni Gaur and son Ayush Gaur are shocked.

Police is reached on the spot

In the meanwhile, police team reached the spot. While seriously injured wife was taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared the woman dead. The husband buried in the debris was also taken out after a while, but by then he had died. The injured were taken out of the debris and sent to the hospital.

Bike is completely burnt

According to the police, Surendra had come home with the cylinder on Diwali. He had a Luna bike. The cylinder was kept on it. After the explosion, the Luna bike was completely burnt. The forensic team has collected evidence from there.
