Haldi ceremony in house, dead bodies of lovers found in room; brother-in-law accused of murder
The groom reached the bride's house at night in Mithora village of Mahmudabad police station area of Sitapur, UP before the wedding. While the wedding is going to take place on November 25 in a temple. In the meanwhile, lovers went to a room, while in the morning they didn’t not come out, the family knocked on the door. The happiness turned into mourning after finding the dead bodies of the bride and groom.
Bodies of lovers were found hanging from in a room
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, taken their bodies in custody and sent them for postmortem. The boy's family has made allegations against the girl's brother-in-law The police have not received any complaint in the case so far. SP South Praveen Ranjan Singh said that the situation will be clear after the postmortem report.
According to the information received from the family, Guddu (25), a resident of Bargadia village, had a love affair with Ruchi (18), a resident of Mithora village for the past years. Guddu used to work as a daily wage laborer, and he used to visit Ruchi's house. When the family of both sides got a hint of the love affair, they accepted this relationship.
With family consent marriage is happening
The deceased's maternal uncle Sunil told that with the consent of both the families, Guddu and Ruchi were going to get married on November 24 under the CM mass marriage scheme. All the preparations for the marriage were also completed but due to some reason the date of the program was extended by the administration. The family had decided to get the marriage done on November 25 in the village temple with mutual consent.
Groom went to bride house before marriage
According to Sunil, Guddu had gone to Ruchi's house on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning, the haldi ritual was going on in the house, when the family's eyes went to Ruchi's room. The door was locked from inside. When the family somehow opened the door, they found the bodies of Ruchi and Guddu there. As soon as the information about the dead bodies was received, a crowd of villagers gathered. The police reached and sent the bodies for postmortem.

Boy's family has accused the girl's brother-in-law of murdering
According to the information, Guddu had a dispute with Ruchi's brother-in-law on Wednesday, two-three days before the incident. Actually, he was against this marriage. The family alleges that Ruchi's brother-in-law has killed both of them. ASP South Praveen Ranjan Singh and Mahmoodabad CO Satish Chandra Shukla also reached the spot and inspected it.
Investigation was started with the help of the forensic team. ASP South said that the cause of death will be known after the postmortem report comes. ASP says that till now no complaint has been received from the family. Action will be taken after receiving the complaint.
