Kannauj Car Accident: A horrific road accident took place on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. In this accident, five doctors traveling in the car died on the spot, while a young man was injured. All five doctors were posted at Saifai Medical College.

The speeding car went out of control, broke the divider and collided with a truck. In this accident, five doctors traveling in the car died on the spot, while another young man was injured.

Accident on Agra-Lucknow Expressway

All five doctors were posted in Saifai Medical College and were returning to Saifai from Lucknow. This accident happened near the 196-kilometer cut in Tirwa Kotwali area.

Car crashed near channel number 196.200

According to the information, this accident happened around 4 am on Wednesday, all of them were returning from Lucknow in a car, when their car crashed near channel number 196.200 of Agra Lucknow Expressway near Tirwa Kotwali of Kannauj district. At the time of the accident, 6 people were in the car. The collision was so severe that all five died on the spot, while another doctor has been seriously injured. He has been referred to Saifai Medical College for treatment.

Five including four doctors died in the accident

Dr. Anirudh Verma, Dr. Santosh Kumar Maurya, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dr. Nardev died in this accident, while another has not been identified. Dr. Jaiveer Singh, injured in the accident, has been referred to Saifai Medical.

Dr. CP Pal, Principal of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Medical College of Kannauj district, said that 5 people were brought to the hospital early this morning, who were declared dead. Out of these, 4 people have their ID cards found, all of them are doctors.

UP CM Yogi expressed grief

Meanwhile Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of this accident. CM Yogi expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased and directed the officials to reach the spot immediately and expedite the relief work.
