After flights and schools and colleges, now hotels have received bomb threats. Many hotels in Tirupati have received bomb threat emails. These emails mention the name of Jafar Sadiq, the kingpin of the alleged drug smuggling network, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau and the ED.

Bomb threat in Tirupati hotels

In response to the threats, policemen and sniffer dogs conducted a thorough search of the hotels, leading to the conclusion that the threat was a rumour. The police are now investigating to find out the source of these threats. A large number of devotees come to Tirupati to visit Lord Tirupati Balaji, so the hotel business here is quite good.

3 private hotels received threats

Three private hotels near Tirupati's Lilamhal, Kapilathirtham and Alipiri received threats through email. The email also allegedly names drug mafia Jafar Sadiq. Let us tell you that for the past several months, flights and schools and colleges have been receiving bomb threats.

Earlier, there were threats to blow up 85 planes. These included 20 Air India planes. The planes that received threats included 20 Indigo, 20 Vistara and 25 Akasa flights.
