How long will biting cold last in Delhi, know IMD forecast

Weather department's prediction

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rain on 28 and 29 December as well, an alert has been issued by the IMD in this regard. Delhi will receive light to moderate rain during the day and moderate fog may prevail at many places.

According to the India Meteorological Department, snowfall continues in the mountains and meanwhile a fresh western disturbance is moving as a trough in the western winds at lower levels, which will bring heavy moisture from the Arabian Sea as well as the Bay of Bengal on Friday and Saturday. Due to this, heavy rain and hailstorm have been predicted in 10 states including Punjab, Haryana. This will increase the cold further.

Due to continuous snowfall in the mountains and western disturbance, people in the plains will also have to face chilling cold.

Let us tell you that on Thursday, the Meteorological Department had issued a yellow alert for rain for three days in Delhi-NCR and predicted heavy rain with storm on 27 and 28 December. After this it will reach 11 degrees while the maximum temperature was expected to remain at 23 degrees.
