In this state 35 percent reservation for women, available in government jobs, cabinet approved
Cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh. While the Council of Ministers approved 35 percent reservation for women in the recruitment of all services of the Madhya Pradesh government.
After the cabinet meeting, Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla said, 'Reservation (for women) in all recruitments under government services in Madhya Pradesh has been increased from 33 percent to 35 percent.
This decision was taken earlier and today it was approved by the state cabinet. This is a big step towards women empowerment in the state.'
Big decisions in the cabinet meeting
Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, Shukla said that the cabinet has approved the opening of 254 new fertilizer sales centers in the state. Deputy CM Shukla said that the Council of Ministers has approved the setting up of an important thermal power plant of 660 MW capacity in Sarni.

Decision regarding recruitment of teachers too
Deputy CM Shukla further informed that the cabinet has also given permission to increase the recruitment age of Assistant Professor in Medical College from 40 years to 50 years. Shukla said that the regional industrial conference held in Rewa was very successful and about 4,000 investors and businessmen participated in the conference.
Investment proposals worth Rs 31,000 crore were received in the conference, and this will create more than 28,000 employment opportunities in the state.
Organization of GIS-2025 conference
Let us tell you that the regional industry conference is being organized in the state as a pre-event of 'Invest Madhya Pradesh - Global Investor Summit-2025'. GIS-2025 is proposed to be organized in Bhopal on 7 and 8 February next year. Also organized in these districts of the state
The first edition of the regional industry conference was held in Ujjain on March 1 and 2 this year. After this, the second edition was held in Jabalpur on July 20, the third edition in Gwalior on August 28, the fourth edition in Sagar on September 27 and the fifth edition was held in Rewa on 23 October.
