Air Force Show:  To celebrate its 92nd anniversary, the Indian Air Force is going to organize an air show in the skies of Chennai on October 6. Meanwhile the role of the Air Force in protecting the skies of the country will be showcased in this show.

Air force is celebrating his 92nd anniversary

The Indian Air Force will celebrate anniversary at Marina Beach in Tamil Nadu. This time on October 6, there will be a spectacular air show in the open skies of Tamil Nadu. While 72 aircraft of the Air Force will perform mesmerizing stunts and fly with better coordination. This year's theme is 'Indian Air Force-Capable, Empowered, Atmanirbhar', which is important for the security of the country's airspace.

Will perform in open skies of Tamil Nadu

Air Force Wing Commander Jaideep Singh said that the program will start at 11 am on Marine Beach on 6th of October. In this air show, among the top teams of the Air Force, Akash Ganga Team, famous for skydiving skills, Surya Kiran Team, famous for close formation aerobatics and Sarang Helicopter Display Team, famous for its spectacular aerial choreography, are ready to show their skills.

Indian Air Force will display flypast and aerial display of various types of aircraft, in which indigenously built state-of-the-art Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter Prachand and heritage aircraft like Dakota and Harvard are likely to participate in this event.

Key highlights of the mega air show

'Indian Air Force - Enabled, Empowered, Atmanirbhar'. The theme will highlight the force's unwavering commitment to the security of the country's airspace.

72 aircraft of the Indian Air Force, including frontline fighter jets, will perform a variety of stunts and aerobatics at the iconic Marina Beach in Chennai.

This show will feature performances by the IAF's elite team Akash Ganga, renowned for its skydiving capability.

The grand display at the iconic Marina Beach will begin at 11 am on 6 October 2024.

The last such air show was held on 8 October last year at the Sangam area in Prayagraj.
