Jaipur tanker blast: The death toll in the LPG tanker explosion in Jaipur has risen to 15, while two more people died on Tuesday at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital. SMS Hospital plastic surgeon Dr. Rakesh Jain said that the death toll has now risen to 15. The two deceased have been identified as Naresh Babu of Etah Uttar Pradesh and Yusuf of Nuh Haryana.
While the driver involved in the gas tanker accident in Jaipur, appeared before the police. A senior official said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the incident will question Jaiveer.

The tanker driver is a resident of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, had got out of the gas tanker in time, sensing the damage caused by the collision at the time of the accident. The tanker filled with LPG was hit by a truck, due to which the nozzles of the tanker broke, and gas started leaking from them. The fierce fire caused by the gas leak engulfed more than 35 nearby vehicles.

According to the police, Jaiveer called the gas tanker owner Anil Panwar, who lives in Delhi, after the incident and then switched off his phone. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Amit Kumar said that we cannot immediately blame the tanker driver as the truck driver had hit his vehicle.
When the tanker driver saw that the nozzles of the vehicle were broken, he thought there might be an explosion as other drivers were starting their vehicles. He then fled from the spot to save his life.
