Jammu-Kashmir: The latest incident of encounter has come in light from Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir. One para trooper was martyred in the incident, while four para soldiers are said to be injured.

Four Indian Army Special Forces personnel were injured in an encounter with terrorists in Chas area of ​​​​Kishtwar on Sunday. While the condition of three of these soldiers is said to be critical.

One army para trooper martyred

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have launched a massive operation to control terrorist activities. Security forces have been active in Baramulla, Srinagar and Kishtwar districts since Saturday, in which encounters have taken place in many areas.

In the last 48 hours, four separate encounters were recorded in the Valley and Jammu region, in which several army personnel were injured. After these incidents, the security forces have intensified action against the terrorists.

4 others injured in encounter with terrorist

Though four Indian Army Special Forces personnel were injured in an encounter with terrorists in Chas area of ​​Kishtwar on Sunday. The condition of three of these soldiers is said to be critical. Rakesh Kumar of Para Special Force has been martyred during the encounter.

Security forces have surrounded the terrorists, in which a group of 3-4 terrorists is believed to be trapped. Officials believe that this terrorist group was responsible for the killing of two defense guards of the village on Friday.

In Srinagar, security forces have launched an operation on the information of the presence of terrorists in Ishbar village of Nishat area. At least three terrorists are believed to be trapped in the upper reaches of the Zabarwan hills. Heavy firing and explosions were heard around 9 am on Sunday, which lasted for about 45 minutes.

Search operation underway in Sopore

Security forces have also launched a massive operation against terrorists in Rampura of Sopore area of ​​Baramulla district. A search operation is being conducted in the area to catch two terrorists who escaped from the eyes of security forces on Saturday night. During this operation, an unidentified terrorist was killed, and a large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from them.

Security tightened in the Valley

Although security forces have launched a massive operation in the Kashmir Valley to curb terrorist activities. Security has been tightened in the valley after action against terrorists in Baramulla, Srinagar and Kishtwar. Police and army have continued intensive search operations keeping an eye on possible hideouts of terrorists.

Three encounters in 15 hours

Three incidents of encounter have come to light in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 15 hours. On one hand, while the security forces have killed one terrorist, on the other hand, in the encounter in Kishtwar, one paratrooper has been martyred, while four para soldiers have been injured

Army gave this information

Meanwhile   Army's Jammu-based White Knight Corps said in a post on X that a joint operation was launched by security forces in the Bharat Ridge area of ​​​​Kishtwar based on specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists. Then firing started from the other side.

Earlier officials had said that 4 army personnel were injured in the initial firing; they were taken to the hospital, where the condition of three of them was stated to be "critical". However, one para trooper has been martyred in this encounter.
