Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi case: The Supreme Court of India heard the Vishwanath-Gyanvapi mosque case on Friday. While the court has issued notice to Gyanvapi mosque management committee and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Notice has been issued on the petition of some Hindu petitioners.

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said, "On November 22, the matter was listed before the apex court in a very limited interim application (IA) seeking ASI investigation of the sealed area. On May 16, 2022, we claimed that a 'Shivling' was found in the so-called 'Wazu Tank' area.

Notion issued on the petition of few Hindu petitioners
Anjuman Intezamia denied it and said that it is a fountain. We had asked for ASI investigation of this area. We had submitted the IA before the Supreme Court which was listed. The Supreme Court has issued a notice on it.

The court has asked Anjuman Intezamia to file a reply within two weeks. All the cases will be listed before the Supreme Court on December 17.”
