LK Advani admitted to hospital, undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital

Senior leader of BJP LK Advani was taken to Apollo Hospital for routine checkup. He is under supervision of doctors and his condition is stable.

The BJP leader LK Advani's health has deteriorated, after which he has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi. According to media reports, LK Advani was taken to Apollo Hospital for routine checkup. He is currently under the supervision of doctors and his condition is stable.

Earlier in the month of August this year, Advani was also admitted to Apollo Hospital. In July also, former Home Minister of the country LK Advani was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. At that time Advani was admitted to the Urology Department.

Apollo Hospital issued a statement saying that 'Former Deputy Prime Minister of India Lal Krishna Advani has been admitted to the ICU of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital for medical management and investigation. He is under the care of Dr. Vineet Suri and his condition is stable at the moment.'

He was honored with Bharat Ratna this year

LK Advani was born on 8 November 1927 in Karachi, Pakistan. While LK Advani celebrated his 98th birthday on 8 November. Advani was the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004 and the union Home minister from 1999 to 2004. Lal Krishna Advani was honored with the country's highest civilian honor 'Bharat Ratna'.

President Draupadi Murmu visited his residence in March and conferred this honor on Advani. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Advani's family members were present in this honor ceremony.
