Lucknow Building Collapse: A three-storey Harmilap Complex in Transport Nagar collapsed on Saturday at 3:30 pm due to rain. However the  complex had four warehouses, and more than 30 people were working, in the warehouse. While Eight people, including businessman Jasmeet Sahni, died after being buried under the debris and 22 injured were admitted to various hospitals. As by the sources, eight people died and 24 people are injured, in a three-storey building collapsed in Transport Nagar area of ​​Lucknow, UP. Relief work continued till late night. NDRF, SDRF are  engaged in rescue operations

Building collapsed on Saturday in Sarojini Nagar area of ​​​​Lucknow was constructed about four years ago. NDRF and SDRF teams are still engaged in rescue operations. So far eight people have died in this accident, the death toll in the building collapse in Lucknow's Transport Nagar has risen to eight after three more bodies were recovered from the debris late last night. As by the media inputs, a police officer said that, this building was constructed four years ago, while rescue operation have recovered three more bodies from the debris.

The incident happened because of heavy rains

 Relief Commissioner GS Naveen said that the SDRF has recovered the bodies of three people during the rescue operation. Police said that the building had a motor workshop on the ground floor. However Many people were buried under the debris of this building, out of which 28 people has been rescued. The construction was done about four years ago and some construction work was going on at the time of the incident. Most of the victims were working on the ground floor when the incident occurred at around 4:45 pm on Saturday evening after heavy rains.
