J&k Phase 2 Polling: After ten years the Valley is facing election, while today voting is going on for second phase assembly election. Stage is set for 239 candidate’s future, in Jammu and Kashmir. Though many veterans are also contesting in the electoral battle. NC Vice President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, JKPCC President Tariq Hamid Karra and BJP J&k Chief Ravinder Raina.

Voting for second phase in J&k

Long queue of people to cast their vote can be on polling stations, for second phase of voting in Valley. There are 239 candidates are in the fray for 26 seats in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Meanwhile big names like NC Vice President Omar Abdullah, BJP J&k Chief Ravinder Raina and JKPCC President Tariq Hamid Karra political future will be decide in today’s voting.

3502 polling booths has set up for the second phase

Let us tell you that 3502 polling booths have been set up for the second phase. In this phase, more than 25 lakh voters will decide the fate of the candidates. Voting is going on in three districts of Jammu division and three districts of Kashmir Valley for the second phase.

Prime Minister Modi appealed voters to cast their votes

The PM Narendra Modi tweeted that today is the second phase of voting for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile PM appealed people to cast their vote for strengthening democracy.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also appealed the people to vote

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote. He said on social media platform X that Jammu and Kashmir is on the verge of change. Today, while the second phase of voting is going on for 26 seats, I appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to come out in large numbers to exercise their democratic rights.

Vote for terrorism-free Jammu and Kashmir - Amit Shah

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah also appealed to the people to vote in the second phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that I appeal to all the voters going to vote to vote in maximum numbers for the creation of terrorism-free and developed Jammu and Kashmir.

Twenty diplomats from 16 countries will observe elections in Valley

While diplomats from 16 foreign missions, including the United States, the European Union, Russia and Australia. They reached Srinagar, today to observe the voting in the second phase of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections.

102-year-old casts vote in Reasi

102-year-old Karam Din Bhatt casts his vote at a polling station in Reasi. After casting his vote, he said that everyone should come and vote.
