Maharashtra elections: Sharad faction has released its first list for Maharashtra assembly elections, the party has announced the names of 45 candidates. NCP (SP) state president Jayant Patil has released the first list.

Meanwhile Sharad faction has given ticket to Jayant Patil from Islampur assembly seat, Anil Deshmukh from Katol seat, Rajesh Tope from Ghansavangi and Balasaheb Patil from Karad North seat.

Who got the ticket from where?

NCP (SP) has announced the names of 45 candidates and has given tickets to Jitendra Awhad from Mumbra seat, Shashikant Shinde from Koregaon, Jaiprakash Dandegaonkar from Wasmat, Gulabrao Devkar from Jalgaon Rural, Indapur-Harshvardhan Patil, Prajakta Tanpure from Rahuri seat, Ashok Pawar from Shirur, Mansingh Naik from Shirala seat, Sunil Bhusara from Vikramgad, Rohit Pawar from Karjag Jamkhed, Bhagyashree Atram from Aheri seat, Rukukumar alias Bablu Chaudhary from Banapur, Subhash Pawar from Murbad, Rakhi Jadhav from Ghatkopar East, Devdutt Nikam from Ambegaon, Yugendra Pawar from Baramati.

Yugendra is Ajit Pawar's nephew

However, Sharad Pawar has fielded Yugendra Pawar against Ajit Pawar on Baramati assembly seat. Yugendra Pawar is Sharad Pawar's grandson and Ajit Pawar's brother Srinivas Pawar's son.

Will announce the rest of the candidates in the next 2 days

In the meanwhile, Jayant Patil said that we will discuss the candidates and will announce the rest of the candidates in the next 2 days. Regarding seat sharing in the alliance, he said that apart from 3-4 parties, there are many other parties in our alliance. It cannot be said clearly today.

Discussions are still going on, while the announcement will be made by tomorrow or day after tomorrow. On Anushaktinagar (Nawab Malik seat), he said that this is our seat. We will announce the candidate by tomorrow.

Uncle-nephew face to face on Baramati seat

Earlier, Ajit faction had released the first list of 38 candidates, in which 95% of the current MLAs have been given tickets again. The names of prominent leaders Nawab Malik and Sana Malik are not included in this list. While Ajit Pawar himself is contesting the Baramati assembly seat.
