Akhnoor Encounter: Terrorists attacked an Indian Army vehicle in Akhnoor area of Jammu and Kashmir on today morning, in which one terrorist was killed. Meanwhile the security forces have been recovered his body along with the weapon.

Terrorists attack on Indian Army vehicle

According to army officials, the security forces immediately surrounded the area and started a search operation.

Army officials said that the personnel of the National Rifles Unit and civilians were going towards Nagin Post in Porter Afravat Range, when the terrorists opened fire on two army trucks near Botapathri, about 6 km from Gulmarg. An official said that at around 7 am in Jogwan area, terrorists opened fire on the army vehicle, after which a massive search operation was launched.
