Opposition protested in the Parliament premises over the Adani case
Adani case: The MPs of several parties of the opposition alliance 'Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance' (INDIA) protested in the Parliament premises on Wednesday over the issue related to the Adani Group and reiterated the demand for formation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to investigate the matter.

MPs of Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and some other parties raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded accountability. Even though opposition MPs gathered near the 'Makar Dwar' of Parliament House and raised slogans.
After US prosecutors indicted Adani Group chief Gautam Adani and other company officials on charges of bribery and fraud, the Congress and some other opposition parties are demanding a joint parliamentary committee probe into the allegations.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had recently demanded the immediate arrest of industrialist Gautam Adani in this case. In the meanwhile, Adani Group said in a statement, that these allegations as baseless facts.
