Prashant Kishore has sat on hunger strike under the Gandhi statue in Gandhi Maidan regarding the matter of BPSC candidates. He gave a 48-hour ultimatum to the government and said that if a solution is not found by the evening of January 2, then he himself will sit on a dharna.

Prashant Kishore said, this hunger strike is against the arrogant government of Bihar, whose leader CM Nitish Kumar did not even consider it appropriate to meet the students. Officials beat up the students. That's why I am on an indefinite hunger strike.

Let us tell you that the 70th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination of BPSC was held on 13 December. Alleging irregularities in the examination, the candidates are demanding to conduct it again. Prashant Kishore's sit-in protest can once again intensify the agitation of BPSC candidates. Candidates are getting support from leaders like Prashant Kishore, Tejashwi, Pappu Yadav as well as the country's well-known teacher Khan Sir. The candidates' protest is going on for more than 2 weeks.

On the other hand, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav will reach the Gardanibagh protest site. BPSC students are protesting here. Pappu Yadav will sit on the protest with the students.

Prashant Kishore, who is on a hunger strike, has five demands

First demand - He says that there should be a high-level investigation into the irregularities and corruption in the 70th BPSC examination and the examination should be conducted again.

Second demand - As per the promise made in 2015, every unemployed youth between 18 and 35 years should be given allowance.

Prashant Kishore's third demand is that a white paper should be issued on the investigation of irregularities and paper leaks in competitive examinations in the last 10 years and action taken against the culprits.

Action should be taken against officials who created lathi system

Fourth demand - Action should be taken against the guilty officials who made Bihar, the mother of democracy, a lathi system.

PK's fifth demand - Domicile policy should be implemented to ensure at least two-thirds share of Bihar youth in government jobs in Bihar.
