Tragic accident near Nainital, Uttarkhand, bus fell into 1500 feet deep gorge, 4 dead
Bheemtal Accident: A major accident took place near Nainital in Bhimtal, Kumaon, Uttarakhand. Here a roadways bus coming from Almora to Haldwani fell into a 1500 feet deep gorge. 27 passengers got out of the bus and fell here and there due to the bus falling into the gorge.
So far 4 people have been confirmed dead in the accident, while 25 people are seriously injured. The dead include two men, a woman and a child. While the rescue operation is going on.

The injured have been brought to the road with the help of police and local people by placing them on ropes and shoulders. According to the information, more than 2 dozen people have been seriously injured in this. The injured are being sent to the nearest hospital. Meanwhile SDRF, fire brigade and police are engaged in rescue. According to the information, 15 ambulances have been sent to Haldwani. Rescue work is going on on a large scale. Due to the trench being more than 1500 feet deep, a lot of effort is being made to bring the injured to the road.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief
After the accident, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the news of the bus crashing near Bhimtal is sad. The local administration has been ordered to carry out immediate relief and rescue work. I pray to Baba Kedarnath for the safety of all the passengers. The injured are being admitted to the hospital. Every possible effort is being made to speed up the rescue operation.
