While on this date, the exam will be conducted in two shifts, in which the first shift exam will be from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, the new date of PCS Pre 2024 exam has been announced by issuing a press release by Onkar Nath Singh, Under Secretary, UP Public Service Commission.

On Thursday, when the commission announced to conduct the PCS Pre exam in one day instead of two days in front of the competitive students outside the commission, at the same time the competitive students were demanding to declare the date. In view of which the commission has announced the date on Friday.

Let us tell you that outside the UP Public Service Commission, the competitive students are agitating demanding to conduct PCS Pre 2024 and RO-ARO Recruitment Examination 2023 in one day and one shift and removal of normalization.

A day earlier on Thursday evening, the commission announced to conduct the PCS Pre exam in one day, after which the crowd gathered outside reduced. At the same time, now the date of PCS Pre exam has also been announced.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath taken cognizance on this

After the continuous protests of the competitive students and the opposition parties raising this issue, the Yogi government had to bow down. Taking cognizance of these demands of the students, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the commission to establish dialogue with the students and take necessary decisions.

The commission, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, communicated with the students and after considering their demands, decided that the PCS Preliminary Examination 2024 will be conducted on a single day as before.
