Even though Congress leaders Pawan Khera and Jairam Ramesh, while holding a press conference, alleged that the results of Haryana are very unexpected, we cannot accept this. Serious complaints have come from many districts. Pawan Khera said that the results are shocking and completely opposite to what we saw on the ground level. We are getting complaints from our workers regarding the vote counting. We will soon lodge a formal complaint.
This is a victory of the system, not democracy
There was pressure on the local officials. There are many seats where we cannot lose, but we have lost there. The results are against sentiments. Jammu and Kashmir has given a clear mandate. We will work to restore the state's status.
We cannot accept this
However Congress leader said, I was in touch with the ECI the whole afternoon. We have serious complaints about the vote counting in three districts. This information will be collected. We will ask for time tomorrow or day after. The results in Haryana are completely unexpected, surprising and contradictory. This is contrary to the ground reality. This is contrary to the wishes of the people of Haryana.
Not possible to accept these results under these circumstances
Though Jairam further added, this is a victory against the will of the people and against the democratic process. The counting process has been disrupted in four districts including Hisar, Panipat and Mahendragarh. Serious questions have arisen on 12-14 seats, where the machines are not working properly at the doorstep of the candidates. We will go to the Election Commission and submit our complaint to the Election Commission regarding the functioning of EVM.
