The Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his Diwali with the soldiers of the country. He spends time with the soldiers, talks to them. After becoming the PM in 2014, he celebrated Diwali with soldiers in Lepcha, Himachal Pradesh. PM Modi has been celebrating Diwali with soldiers for decades.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reached Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh to celebrate Diwali. He will celebrate Deepawali with the soldiers of the Indian Army here.

It is also said about PM Modi celebrating Diwali with soldiers that the PM has a great affection for the soldiers. PM Modi's affection for the brave soldiers of the country is not without reason. In his childhood, PM Modi himself wanted to serve the country by becoming a soldier.

He wanted to study in Sainik School located in Balachadi, Jamnagar, Gujarat, but then he could not study due to the financial condition of the family. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he also celebrated Diwali with the soldiers. In 2009, while being the Chief Minister, he reached the Nathula border of India-China to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers.

PM Modi's love for soldiers is quite old. Security forces who are always ready to serve the country were not able to celebrate Diwali with their families. They remain alert on the borders of the country on far-flung borders. They are engaged in protecting the country. In such a situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself goes to celebrate Diwali with his soldiers.

PM Modi, himself wanted to become a soldier

PM Modi's love for the brave soldiers of the country is not without reason. In his childhood, PM Modi himself wanted to become a soldier and serve the country. He wanted to study in Sainik School located in Balachadi, Jamnagar, Gujarat, but could not study due to the poor financial condition of the family. He bought the admission form by depositing two rupees for admission.

Later, after his father refused, he started helping him in his work. PM Modi could not get admission in Sainik School even if he wanted to. There are some childhood pictures of the PM. In which he is wearing army uniform.

Once this tradition broken in 2001

Meanwhile for decades, PM Modi has been celebrating Diwali with the soldiers. But he broke this tradition after becoming the Chief Minister in 2001. There was a reason for this too. Then he celebrated his first Diwali as Chief Minister not with the soldiers but in Bhuj, Kutch.

He did this to express solidarity with the earthquake victims of Kutch. That year his cabinet colleagues did not celebrate Diwali. The PM Modi has been going to the border to celebrate Diwali.
