Prime Minister, will launch Subhadra Yojana for women in Bhubaneswar
PM Subhadra Yojana: The PM Narendra Modi will launch the Subhadra Yojana made by the state government for women in Bhubaneswar. All though the scheme is run with the aim of empowering the women of the state economically. While this a ambitious project of BJP, even they have included this big scheme in its manifesto for the assembly elections.
What is Subhadra Yojana
Though under the Subhadra Yojana, the state government will give 10 thousand rupees to the woman every year. The honorarium will be given in two installments of Rs 5000-5000 in a year.
Odisha women will get benefit of this scheme
While installment of the honorarium of Subhadra Yojana will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of women on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima and Women's Day. All though the Odisha women only get benefited. Under the scheme, more than 1 crore women between the ages of 21 and 60 will get Rs 10,000 every year in the state.
Cabinet set a budget of Rs 55825 crore for this scheme
Subhadra Yojana will be implemented from the current financial year 2024-25 to the financial year 2028-29. And the assistance amount will be available for the next five years. However the cabinet has alreadt approved a budget of Rs 55825 crore.
Who are getting the benefit of this Yojana
In the meanwhile Subhadra Yojana, will be available only for those women who are financially weak. Women who are holding government jobs and paying income tax will not be included in this scheme. At the same time, if a woman gets a benefit of Rs 15,000 or more every year from any other government schemes, then she will also not to be included.

Subhadra Debit Card
The state government want to promote digital transactions in rural areas, for that women will also get 'Subhadra Debit Card'. Out of the beneficiaries of this scheme, 100 beneficiaries who do digital transactions will be identified and they will also be given an additional incentive of Rs 500.
