Cultural Milestone in Cinemas

The expansive temple, covering 70 acres, will open its doors to the public following the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22. PVR INOX, in collaboration with news channel Aaj Tak, will transmit the ceremony live in more than 160 cinemas spread across 70 cities in India.

Expressing the significance of the event, Gautam Dutta, Co-CEO of PVR INOX Ltd, remarked, "Grand and historic occasions like this have to be experienced in a grand manner. The cinema screens will bring to life the emotions of a collective celebration across the country."

The temple consecration ceremony is hailed as a cultural milestone in India, generating immense anticipation nationwide. Dutta emphasized the unique manner in which PVR INOX aims to connect devotees with the celebration, stating, "It will be a privilege for us to be able to connect the devotees with this celebration in a truly unique manner."

The live screening of the ceremony is scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm, with tickets available at a nominal cost of Rs 100. This includes a beverage and popcorn combo, ensuring that the audience enjoys a memorable and immersive cinematic experience.

Renowned film personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, and several others, have received invitations for the ceremony. The cinema halls are set to resonate with auspicious chants, breathtaking visuals, and the magic of this highly anticipated moment in India's contemporary history.
