In his recent efforts to reach public on ground, Rahul Gandhi reached Anand Vihar ISBT railway station in New Delhi. The prime ministerial candidate from Congress took the avatar of porter i.e., a coolie to gain the trust of people and to connect with them.

Rahul Gandhi reached the Anant Vihar railway station on Thursday and was welcomed by a group of Porters who were happy to see him between them. He wore a red shirt which is commonly worn by porters in India and also tied the batch worn by porters in their arms. Gandhi then lifted a blue suitcase on his head.

This action by Rahul Gandhi received both positive and negative reactions on Internet. Some praised the leader for coming and showing his support for the community by dressing like them and lifting a suitcase like them. While the others mocked the leader. They pointed questions on this act of Rahul Gandhi about his act of lifting a "wheeled" trolley suitcase on his head when it can easily be trolleyed.

While Rahul Gandhi was carrying the suitcase on his head, he was surrounded by the chants of ‘Rahul Gandhi Zindabad' by porters around him who supported and praised the leader for his action.

Congress took to twitter to share the work of their top leader calling him the hero of porters.

Many even compared the leader with the film Coolie No 1 featuring Govinda. In the film Nayak, Anil Kapoor became CM for a like, likewise, Rahul Gandhi became coolie for a day. Rahul Gandhi has been tries to reach different sections of the society under the mission of "Bharat Jodo Yatra".
