'Riding Unstoppable': Rahul Gandhi's Journey by Motorcycle Across Ladakh on the Eve of Father Rajiv's Birth Anniversary

Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi Takes a Bike Ride Through Stunning Ladakh Landscapes en Route to Pangong Lake as Part of Social Outreach Following Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Continuing his journey across the Union Territory, Gandhi will commemorate the upcoming birth anniversary of his late father, Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, on August 20th. Sharing snapshots of his bike expedition on his Instagram profile, Rahul Gandhi expressed, "En route to Pangong Lake, a place my father used to describe as one of the world's most exquisite destinations."

Riding a KTM 390 Adventure, Rahul Gandhi Leads a Group of Riders on a Breathtaking Route in Ladakh. The Congress Member of Parliament is fully dressed in biking attire, donning a helmet, gloves, riding boots, and a jacket.

Additionally, he is set to partake in the forthcoming meeting of the 30-member Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC)-Kargil elections, scheduled for August 25.

The Congress party shared more images, captioning them with the words, "Moving Forward with Determination — Unstoppable!"

This marks Gandhi's inaugural visit to Ladakh subsequent to the reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories, Ladakh, and J&K, following the annulment of Articles 370 and 35 (A) on August 5, 2019. Earlier in January, during his Bharat Jodo Yatra, he visited Jammu and Srinagar.

Amidst taunts from adversaries, particularly the BJP, who depict him as an entitled dynast disconnected from the struggles of ordinary Indians, Rahul Gandhi has undertaken multiple transformations of his public image throughout his political journey.

The fervent, assertive young man who vehemently criticized an ordinance enacted by his own administration is now a thing of the past.

This time around, the focus is on presenting Gandhi as a relatable individual – partly to establish a sense of comfort for Opposition parties seeking collaboration with the Congress, and partly to juxtapose him as an alternative to the charismatic Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
