According to sources, MP Nishikant Dubey of the Bharatiya Janata Party would be the first speaker in the no-confidence motion debate.

The Wayanad MP, a harsh opponent of Modi and his major adversary in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, was removed from Parliament after being convicted by a Gujarat magistrate's court in March. The Supreme Court delayed his conviction on Friday, which means it is on hold until the court thoroughly reviews Gandhi's appeal before rendering a final decision.

Gandhi was sentenced to two years in prison, but his sentence was suspended in April by the court. After the Gujarat high court affirmed his conviction, he filed an appeal with the Supreme Court last month.
The Lok Sabha will begin debating the no-confidence motion on Tuesday. The conversation has been scheduled for 12 hours, according to sources.

While the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), Shivsena, Janata Dal-United (JDU), Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) each received 2 hours,"

On August 10, Modi will respond to the debate on Gogoi's no-confidence vote against the BJP-led NDA government, as well as the Opposition's demand for a full examination of the violence in Manipur and a statement from the prime minister.

The opposition parties of I.N.D.I. moved a no-confidence resolution.Last Monday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla approved a bloc.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has convened a parliamentary party meeting for Tuesday, ahead of the no-confidence motion discussion in Lok Sabha.
