In the assembly elections, Rajasthan recorded a 75.45% voter turnout, with more women than men voting and higher turnout in rural areas.

According to election data, Rajasthan's voter turnout in the assembly elections, which were held on Saturday across 199 of 200 assembly constituencies, was 75.45%. This represents a slight increase of 0.73% from the previous polls in 2018. In Rajasthan, the comparable percentage in 2018 was 74.72%.

Higher voter turnout in rural areas

The data indicates that voter turnout was higher in rural than in urban areas, and that there were more female voters than male voters.December 3rd will mark the announcement of the results.

According to Chief Election Officer Praveen Gupta, female voter turnout was higher than male voter turnout in 2018. Similar to 2018, there were more female voters than male voters. Women made up about 74.72% of voters this time, up from 74.67%. According to him, male turnout decreased to 74.53% from 74.75% in 2018.

Jaisalmer reported the highest voting percentage

Election data shows that of the 51,756 polling stations, Pokaran in Jaisalmer had the highest voting percentage (87.79%), followed by Tijara in Alwar (86.11%), Nimbahera in Chittorgarh (85.58%), Ghatol in Banswara (85.35%), and Nohar in Hanumangrah (84.27%).

According to the data, Ahore in Jalore had the lowest voting percentage (61.24%), followed by Marwar Junction in Uaipur (61.29%), Sumerpur in Pali (61.44%), Jalore (62.72%), and Todabhim in Karauli (63.50%).
