Ram Nagri Ayodhya ready to set example of Green Pilgrimage with Electric Cars
Electric Cars in Ayodhya : The city of Shri Ram, Ayodhya is ready to welcome thousands of pilgrims on and after January 22, when the Pran Pratistha Samaroh of Sri Ram idol is scheduled to take place.
Special arrangements for visitors
The government has made special arrangements for VVIPs who will be arriving in the city for the ceremony. These arrangements include 12 Electric Cars which are stationed at the Ayodhya Cantt Railway Station, Ayodhya Dham Junction, and Maharishi Valmiki International Airport to welcome the VVIP's.
The authorities plan to provide Electric cars everywhere in Ayodhya for a smooth visit to the Ram Nagri. A dedicated mobile app has been developed to book the EVs. The number of these electric cars will increase till January 22. These will help the pilgrims in visiting all holy sites in the city, such as Ram Janmabhoomi, Saryu River, Bharat Kund, and Suraj Kund etc.
These cabs will be reasonably priced with Rs 250 for 10kms, Rs 400 for 20kms to Rs 3000 for 12 hours. Pilgrims and tourists coming to Ayodhya will easily be able to book these cars through the app.

Trial for these Electric Cars (EVs) has already commenced from the Ayodhya Cantt Railway station. People using these cars are asked to share their experiences.
Ayodhya is witnessing a historic moment as various development projects are underway in the city to raise it to global standards. Ayodhya will be welcoming millions of people every year after the opening of the newly built Ram Mandir. Therefore the city needs to have a high-class infrastructure where it can easily fulfill the needs of accommodation, transportation, road connectivity, and other facilities.
