in another tweet he wrote, “When I met her on her 100th birthday, she said one thing, which is always remembered that is work with intelligence, live life with purity.”
Talking about Heeraba, sh used to live in a village called Raysan village near Gandhinagar city with PM Modi’s younger brother Pankaj Modi. The prime minister use to regularly visit Raysan to spend time with her during most of his Gujarat visits.
At the age of 100, she was active and healthy, it was recently when she was admitted in super-specialty UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre on Wednesday morning due to some health issues. The doctors said on Thrusday that her health was improving a bit, but she took her last breath early on Friday morning.
Earlier in the day, Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath temple committee also offered prayers for the speedy recovery of Heeraben.
PM Modi was scheduled to visit West Bengal in order to inaugurate the Developmental Project, Where he apologies the people of Bengal as due to his mother’s dismiss he was not able to complete his commitments. but after performing all the rituals, later he joined his duty.
PM Modi who reached Gujarat this morning first paid tribute to her at her Raysan residence and then carried the bier with the mortal remains to the crematorium for the last rites. Heeraben Modi, 100, passed away at around 3:30 am today at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre in Ahmedabad, according to a bulletin from the hospital.
