45 Rozgar Mela events
On Monday, the PM spoke at the 8th annual Rozgar Mela. Around the country, there will be 45 Rozgar Mela events. The recruitment process for paramilitary forces has undergone major changes, according to Prime Minister Modi, in order to provide fresh opportunities for young people.
Streamlined Process of Recruitment
In order to shorten the recruitment period, he added, the recruitment procedure in paramilitary forces has been streamlined. He stated that the fast-growing industries of automobiles and pharmaceuticals will soon produce a lot of work chances for young people.
PM Modi's view of the Indian economy
In this decade, he predicted, India will have one of the top three economies on the planet. He does so fully responsibly when he makes this commitment, according to PM Modi. Speaking about the significance of every industry for a thriving economy, PM Modi stated, "From food to pharma, from startups to space, every sector must expand for any economy."
Significance of Jan Dhan Yojana
In order to shed light on the decisions made to reform the banking industry and make it more accessible to the general public; PM Modi recalled that the Jan Dhan Yojana was introduced on August 28 of nine years ago. He claimed that the programme was crucial to the creation of jobs.
New Portal for Skill Development
He advised members of the paramilitary forces to keep learning during their assignments. He advised the new recruits to sign up for courses and skill development at the new portal. According to PM Modi, whatever is learned throughout these courses will help one become a great officer. Additionally, he urged the new recruits to concentrate on their physical fitness and maintain it during their duty.
Boost to 'Make In India' Program
Additionally, PM Modi stated that the government would prioritise the purchase of laptops and PCs made in India while reiterating the importance of supporting local businesses and jobs.
As part of Mission Recruitment, the Indian government and a few States/UTs have been holding Rozgar Melas all throughout the nation and giving out appointment letters to thousands of young people each month.
Rozgar Mela Across the country
The distribution of 51,106 appointment letters to new appointees took place at 45 locations across the nation, according to a government official. Guwahati is one of these locations as well. The Rozgar Mela - 8th Tranche will be presided over by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, who also serves in the Ministries of Ayush and Ports, Shipping, and Waterways.
Ministry seeks to fill positions in a number of paramilitary organisations
While 150 appointment letters will be handed at the ceremony in Silchar, about 287 appointment letters will be distributed in Guwahati. The Ministry of Home Affairs will fill positions using this Mela in a number of paramilitary organisations, including the CRPF, BSF, Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Delhi police.
The new hires will work in a variety of organisations run by MHA in positions like Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (GD), and Non-GD Cadre Posts.
