Sabarmati Express Train Derail In Kanpur: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given his reaction .He has termed it a conspiracy. Ashwini Vaishnav wrote on X, "The engine of Sabarmati Express (Varanasi to Ahmadabad) collided with an object placed on the track near Kanpur at 02:35 am today, there Sharp injury mark can be seen. Howe ever the Evidence has been preserved., by IB and UP Police. No passengers or staff have been injured in this accident. Train has been arranged for the passengers to travel further from Ahmadabad. As by the information, train number 19168 Sabarmati Express (Banaras-Ahmadabad) was going towards Ahmadabad. The train suddenly got derailed near Govindpuri station in Bhimsen section of Kanpur under Jhansi Division at around 2:30 am on Friday night and its 22 coaches derailed. However, there has been no loss of life or property in the accident. Nor is there any report of anyone being injured.

Driver informed that accident happened
According to the driver, prima facie the boulder hit the engine Due to the collision, the cattle guard of the engine got badly damaged and got bent. After this coaches derailed. all arrangements have been made by the railway administration for convenience of the passengers. The passengers are being sent to Kanpur City by bus. Senior officials are present at the accident site.

Kanpur ADM City Rakesh Verma also said that 22 coaches of Sabarmati Express have derailed. All the passengers are safe. Train arranged for the passengers to go to Ahmadabad, passengers are being taken to the station by bus.
