SC reservation issue in Bihar: The Supreme Court took an important decision on RJD petition on today, however the bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra attached RJD's petition with the petition of Bihar government. The court will hear this case further. At the same time, a notice has also been issued by the Supreme Court on this petition of RJD and Bihar government's petitions joined together.

The Patna High Court had cancelled the increased scope of reservation in Bihar, against which RJD had approached the Supreme Court. RJD had filed a petition to stay the decision of Patna High Court. The Supreme Court has taken an important decision on this. The Supreme Court has issued a notice on this petition of RJD. The decision of the High Court was challenged by both the Bihar government and RJD. First the Bihar government and then the RJD filed a petition related to this in the Supreme Court. While RJD's petition was attached with the petition of Bihar government, however the scope of reservation was increased after the caste census in Bihar, the reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) and also Other Backward Classes (OBC) was increased from 50 percent to 65 percent.

The judiciary ready to stay the decision of High Court
The Supreme Court refused to cancel the decision of the Patna High Court. The hearing of this case was scheduled in September. RJD was not a party in this case earlier. First the Bihar government and then RJD also filed a petition in this case. In the meanwhile, RJD head Lalu Yadev again seen in old form. On the occasion of 50th death anniversary of Amar Shaheed Jagdev Prasad, Lalu Yadev said that caste census will be done at the country level by holding ears.
