Earthquake Tremors: Earthquake tremors were felt in Nanded, Maharashtra. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that an earthquake of 3.8 magnitude hit Nanded in Maharashtra on Tuesday morning.
According to the information, the earthquake occurred at 6:52 am. However, the depth of the earthquake was 5 km.
Earthquake tremors shook Nanded
Though earthquake tremors were felt in parts of Nanded North city, Hadgaon and Ardhapur taluka. However, its intensity was low, so no one suffered any damage. There was no loss of life or property anywhere in the district due to this earthquake.
Epicenter of the earthquake has recorded
While the epicenter of the earthquake was in Sawargaon village of Hadgaon taluka, 29 km north-east of Nanded city. District Emergency Operations Center Officer Kishor Kurhe said that preliminary information has been received that there has been no loss of life or property due to this tremor.
As by the inputs, the intensity of this earthquake has been recorded as 3.8 on the Richter scale.
Earthquake also occurred in Hingoli
Earlier in July this year, an earthquake of 4.5 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred in Hingoli, Maharashtra. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers of the ground.
Nanded is in seismic zone-2
Let us tell you that Nanded is located in Zone II on the seismic map of India, where the possibility of earthquake is considered to be the lowest.
