"She was antisocial for like a year and didn’t even like to step out," Alaya F's brother Omar F on reminiscing the actress's training days!

Alaya F is an actress who made her Hindi film debut in 2020 with Jawaani Jaaneman starring alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. In a very short span of time, Alaya has made her mark in the entertainment world, featuring in films like Freddy, Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat, U-Turn, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and the recent release Srikanth, she has provided strong examples of her acting prowess.

However, her journey in the entertainment world hasn't been as easy as it might seem. The actress underwent rigorous training and even became somewhat antisocial to focus on perfecting her craft.

In a recent interview, Alaya's brother, Omar F, spoke about how the actress became antisocial while she was training to become an actor. He said, "Before I was going for university, I remember her just she was in the training phase before she got into the industry. She was like, 'I’m not gonna get in before I’m 150% ready'. So, like for, I think over a year or longer, all she did day and night was just train and train and train, even through like that whole journey. She didn’t meet her friend. She was like antisocial for like a year and she didn’t even like step out you know, and I was like 'this girl is like she’s just in a cocoon', but she was putting so much effort into it. You know, and clearly because as soon as she came out of that, she started giving like her first auditions and then getting her first few projects Jawaani Jaaneman what an amazing film, and you can see the effort that was put into it, you know. It was a lot of effort and it turned out really well, which it obviously would."

"Her only friends were us, at that time it was just me, mom, her and we used to have dinners together, barely have time for dinner and then she used to be next morning back to work," he added.

This indeed speaks volumes about Alaya F's unwavering dedication. The efforts she invested in herself before her debut are perfectly reflected in her performances, for which she also won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
