Don't Want To Sit Alone And Sulk:  Virat Kohli has advocated the presence of families on tours. He stressed that he feels that they bring balance to the players, who are going through difficult times on the field. He said that the player does not want to return to his room from the field and sit alone and sad.

He wants to be normal. This is how the player can fulfill his responsibility i.e. the game properly.

In fact, after the defeat on the Australia tour, BCCI had made strict rules for the players. In these, the time limit for the players to stay with their families on foreign tours was also fixed. Emphasis was also laid on the bonding of the players with the team.

New rules made for players after BGT

>. More than 45 days on a tour, their family can join them only after two weeks and cannot stay for more than 14 days. Although on smaller tours, player’s families can stay for up to a week.

. If a player has to travel with the family or separately, permission has to be taken from the head coach and the chairman of the selection committee.
