Let us tell you that in the first season of IPL, Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI (Punjab Kings) match was played on 25 April 2008. This match was played in Mohali. After the match was over, during the award ceremony, Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth in front of everyone on the field.

BCCI took this matter seriously and took immediate action. After investigating the matter, the board found Harbhajan Singh guilty and suspended him from the remaining 11 matches of IPL 2008. Along with this, his entire match fee was confiscated.
