Hardik Pandya broke a BCCI rule, doing the very thing that was prohibited on the field

Hardik Pandya Bowling: Hardik Pandya once again delivered a brilliant performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. This player led his team to a strong victory against Chandigarh. Batting first, Baroda scored 391 runs, and in reply, the Chandigarh team was all out for 242 runs. Hardik Pandya scored 75 runs off 31 balls in this match. He hit 9 sixes and 2 fours in his innings. His strike rate was more than 240. But after this, Pandya did something that was against the BCCI rules.

Pandya did not heed the BCCI's instructions

In fact, after playing an innings of 75 runs against Chandigarh, Pandya also came to bowl. He not only opened the bowling but also bowled 10 overs. In his spell, Pandya took 3 wickets for 66 runs in 10 overs. The important point here is that the BCCI COE had not given Pandya permission to bowl. When the Indian team was selected for the New Zealand ODI series, the BCCI tweeted that Hardik Pandya was not fit to bowl 10 overs, but despite this, the player bowled all his allotted overs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Hardik Pandya is being rested by the COE (Centre of Excellence) with the T20 World Cup in mind, yet he is bowling his full quota of 10 overs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Pandya might face reprimand from the BCCI because of this. However, it is also possible that the all-rounder took permission before the match against Chandigarh.

Hardik Pandya's brilliance

Hardik Pandya has performed brilliantly in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.  Besides scoring 75 runs against Chandigarh, he also shone brightly against Vidarbha, scoring 133 runs. Pandya has hit 20 sixes in the last two matches.
