Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars: A major clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for the T20 World Cup 2026. But before that match at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India crushed Pakistan by 8 wickets in Bangkok, 5,000 kilometers away. This match was played in the Women's Rising Stars Asia Cup, in which Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

India A bowlers wreak havoc on Pakistan A

The India A women's bowlers crushed Pakistan A's decision to bat first before it could be proven right. The Indian bowlers wreaked such havoc that Pakistan A women's wickets fell at regular intervals. Pakistan A's opening pair managed a partnership of just 2 runs. Pakistan A's second wicket fell at 15 runs, followed by four more wickets in the next 17 runs.

India restricted Pakistan to 93 runs in the Women's Rising Stars match

Despite dismissing six Pakistan A women's batsmen for just 32 runs, the India A bowlers' havoc continued in this high-voltage Women's Rising Stars match. As a result, Pakistan A failed to score even 100 runs, being all out for 93 in just 18.5 overs in the 20-over match.

In the Women's Rising Stars match, Pakistan A's batting performance was so poor that only three of their batsmen reached double figures, including opener Shawal Zulfiqar, who scored 23 runs. Gul Rukh scored 21 runs, while Anoosha Naseer made 17 runs. For India A, Radha Yadav, Prema Rawat, and Salma Thakor took two wickets each. Minu Mani and Jintimani Kalita took one wicket each.

After the bowlers, India A's batsmen shine

After the bowlers' strong performance, the Indian batsmen also performed brilliantly. Chasing a target of 94, India A lost their first wicket without a single run being added to the scoreboard. However, India did not give Pakistan any chances after that. Their second wicket fell at 79 runs. India achieved the target of 94 runs in 10.1 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Dinesh Vrinda top-scored for India A with a quickfire unbeaten 55 off 29 balls.
