India squad for Champions Trophy: Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been dropped from the team due to workload and recent performance. Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has got a chance in place of Siraj. Bumrah has not got a place in the team for the ODI series against England. Young pacer Harshit Rana will play in his place. According to Agarkar, Shami has been selected in the team for the Champions Trophy. The chief selector says that Bumrah is on the way to getting fit.

Sanju Samson did not get a chance

Sanju Samson also did not get a place in the Champions Trophy team. However, this is not surprising because he has not been a part of the ODI team since 2024. He did not even play for Kerala in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2024-25. Samson did not even get a place in the list of reserve players.
