Indian hockey team announced for Asia Cup 2025: The Indian team for Asia Cup has been announced. Hockey India released the team on Wednesday. Harmanpreet Singh, who won bronze for India in Paris Olympics, has been given the command of the team.

Krishna Bahadur Pathak and Suraj Kerketta have been given the responsibility of veteran goalkeeper PR Sreejesh. Sreejesh had announced his retirement after winning bronze in Olympics last year.

Sumit, Jarmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas and Jugraj Singh have been placed in the defense line, while names like Mandeep Singh, Shailendra Lakra, Abhishek and Dilpreet are in the forward line. Manpreet Singh and Vivek Sagar Prasad have been placed in the midfielders.
