Jasprit Bumrah (Mumbai Indians)

Bumrah has been out of action since sustaining a back spasm during the India vs Australia Test match earlier this year. His participation in IPL 2025 remains uncertain as India has a crucial England tour right after the tournament.

Mayank Yadav (Lucknow Super Giants)

Mayank Yadav, India’s fastest bowler, is currently recovering at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). While he has been seen practicing in the nets, LSG will only allow him to play if he is fully fit. If he doesn’t recover in time, Shardul Thakur or Shivam Mavi could replace him.

Umran Malik (Kolkata Knight Riders)

KKR’s express pacer Umran Malik has been ruled out of IPL 2025 due to an injury. The team has brought in left-arm seamer Chetan Sakariya as his replacement.

Harry Brook (Delhi Capitals)

Harry Brook withdrew from IPL 2025 to focus on England’s international fixtures. Due to IPL’s two-year ban rule, he will not be eligible to participate until 2027. Delhi Capitals are now looking for a strong middle-order batter to fill the gap.

Brydon Carse (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

England’s Brydon Carse suffered a toe injury, ruling him out of IPL 2025. Sunrisers Hyderabad has signed South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder as his replacement.

Lizaad Williams (Mumbai Indians)

Mumbai Indians faced another setback as South African pacer Lizaad Williams was ruled out due to injury. The team has replaced him with Corbin Bosch, who was previously a net bowler for Rajasthan Royals.

Allah Ghazanfar (Mumbai Indians)

Young Afghan spinner Allah Ghazanfar suffered an injury before IPL 2025, forcing him to withdraw. Mumbai Indians have roped in experienced spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman as his replacement.
