IPL 2025 Updates: BCCI halts IPL amid rising India-Pakistan tensions

IPL postponed due to India-Pakistan conflict: BCCI did not give new dates, 12 league matches are yet to be played.

IPL 2025 Updates: Punjab-Delhi match also had to be canceled. Pakistan attacked the border of Jammu, Punjab and Rajasthan of India with missiles and drones at around 8.30 pm on May 8. During this, the match was being played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

A match was to be played between Lucknow and Bangalore in Lucknow on Friday, but the tournament was halted before that.

National anthem played in honor of Operation Sindoor

National anthem played before the match in honor of Indian Army's Operation Sindoor. National anthem is not usually played before matches in IPL, but it was done on Wednesday in honor of the Army.
