IPL 2025: In the match played against Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli has made a new record by playing an unbeaten half-century innings. He played an unbeaten innings of 73 runs with the help of 7 fours and 1 six in 54 balls in the 37th match of the Indian Premier League 2025. With the help of this half-century, Virat Kohli became the batsman to play the most innings of 50 or more runs in IPL history.

He broke the record of Australia's David Warner. Apart from this, he has also equaled a record of Mumbai Indians opener Rohit Sharma.

Most 50-plus scores in IPL

While during his 15-year journey in IPL, Australian opener David Warner, played 184 matches for Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. During this, he scored innings of more than 50 runs 66 times. While Virat Kohli has scored more than 50 runs 67 times in 260 IPL matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
