IPL Match: Punjab-Delhi match in Dharamsala called off midway amid security tensions
IPL Match: Due to India-Pakistan tension, the match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 8 (Wednesday) was cancelled midway. Also, the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala was evacuated. A special train has been run to bring the players from Dharamshala to Delhi.
The BCCI has arranged for the Vande Bharat train to bring the players and support staff on priority basis.
The current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) may be postponed midway. This big news has come out amid India-Pakistan tension.

Meanwhile meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is going on regarding this.
First priority of the BCCI is to send the foreign player's home.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Devjit Saikia said, 'Keeping everything in mind, we have decided to cancel this match. The situation is not good right now, that is why we have canceled the match on May 8. The neighboring country is trying to worsen the situation.
