According to media reports, BCCI has selected a 14-member squad under the leadership of Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar.

Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan are part of it.

Not only this, both the players will also be seen playing in the first unofficial Test against England Lions. Ishan Kishan was not a part of it earlier, but the injury of two players in IPL changed his luck and he got a chance.

According to the report of news agency, a 14-member team has been selected for the England tour led by Ajit Agarkar. It includes most of the players whose teams will not be able to reach the playoffs. Their journey will end in the league stage itself. Ishan Kishan's name is also included in this and he will also be seen playing in the first unofficial Test.

According to the report, Kishan was not a part of it earlier. But the injury of Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar and RCB's Devdutt Padikkal cleared the way for him.

India A squad for England series

Due to the new schedule of IPL 2025, it has been decided to select the team for only one match, where the playoff matches are clashing with the match between India A and England Lions.
