Rain of centuries in Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan lagged behind here too

South African opener Ryan Rickelton scored a century against Afghanistan on Friday. This was his first century in ODIs. He became the fifth South African batsman to score a century in the Champions Trophy. He played an innings of 103 runs off 106 balls.

Rickelton scored the 5th century of Champions Trophy 2025. The first New Zealand opener century was scored by Will Young. After this, Tom Latham, Tauheed Hridoy and Shubman Gill scored centuries.

In the innings against Afghanistan, Rickelton scored 103 runs in 106 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. He shared a 128-run partnership with captain Temba Bavuma. Bavuma scored 58 runs. After this, he shared a 44-run partnership with Rassie van der Dussen.
