Smriti Mandhana: After the sudden heartbreak amidst a joyful atmosphere, Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana is slowly recovering. Smriti, who was preparing to tie the knot with Palash Muchhal on November 23rd, had to postpone the wedding on the same day. Almost two weeks later, Smriti officially announced the cancellation of the wedding. After announcing the cancellation of her wedding in an Instagram post on December 7th, Mandhana appeared at an event in Mumbai on Wednesday, December 10th. Women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur was also present, and during the event, Mandhana answered questions related to the World Cup and her cricket career. During this time, Mandhana showed her resilience and answered the questions while keeping her emotions in check.
Expressing her love for cricket
While love may have left Mandhana's life for now, her first love is still with her, and that is cricket. The Indian team's vice-captain mentioned this and said that she probably doesn't love anything more than cricket. Mandhana said, "I don't think I love anything more than cricket. The inspiration of wearing the Indian jersey is what drives us forward. You put all your troubles aside, and this thought (of playing for the Indian team) helps you stay focused in life.

Mandhana's return will be with this series
